What we collect and why

Enquiry forms. Name, phone number, product, location, optional email, opening sizes, message and any files you attach. We use these to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation. We also record the page the form was on and, where present, campaign parameters from the link you arrived on (for example utm_source or a Google Ads click identifier) so we understand which advertising leads to enquiries. We do not record your IP address with the enquiry; a one-way hashed value is kept only to detect abuse.

Marketing consent. The enquiry form has a separate, optional checkbox for marketing follow-up. You can request a quotation without ticking it. If you tick it, we may contact you about offers and new products; you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.

Phone and WhatsApp. If you call or message us, we keep the conversation history needed to handle your project.

Website measurement. When tracking is enabled, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which adverts lead to enquiries and contact clicks. These tools set cookies. Depending on the consent setting shown in the banner, analytics and advertising storage are either granted by default with the option to decline, or denied until you accept. No names, phone numbers or email addresses are sent to these tools.

Legal basis and retention

We process enquiry data to respond to your request and to perform a contract if you proceed. Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle the project and warranty, and then deleted or anonymised. Marketing contact stops when you withdraw consent.

Sharing

Enquiry data is stored in our website database hosted with a cloud provider and is accessible to Al Balaj Folds staff who handle sales and installation. We do not sell personal data. Email notifications of enquiries pass through our email provider. Google receives measurement data as described above.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to marketing, by emailing info@albalajfolds.ae. We will respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before acting.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, uploads are validated and stored privately, and access to enquiry data requires staff login with two-factor authentication for administrators. No internet transmission is completely secure; please do not send payment details through the website.

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
